Qantas Spice Up Their Economy Menu

We’ve all had a moment while flying, as we stare at the questionably textured and colourless “food” in front of us, and sworn we are never going economy class again. But come the next holiday and cheap airfare sale that was too good to resist, we are right back in seat 17D, questioning whether we might just be better off starving.
Thankfully many airlines have finally taken note of this and there is a growing trend towards a little bit of culinary class up in our skies. The latest to get on board are Qantas and they are specifically looking out for the guys in economy.
Rolling out across their international network progressively from 25 November 2014, Qantas are promising more choices, larger meals and quicker service.
Each flight will enjoy four options: a healthy option for those conscious of their holiday bod’s, comfort food for those who may have ‘holidayed’ a little bit too hard, a dish inspired by the route itself and a fourth exclusive dish you have to preorder online.
Passengers will also be given a Bickford’s signature welcome drink after take-off, featuring flavours ‘exclusive to Qantas’.
For those with a bottomless pit they like to call a stomach, continual self-serve and grazing options will be available, including fresh fruit, pulled beef sliders, Weis ice cream bars and Carman’s muesli bites.
Food is arguably one of the best things about travelling. It is nice to see some airlines are now coming to the dinner party.
