Atop a 7/11, via a dingy stair well, in the east of Melbourne, lays a delicious Mexican fiesta!
Providing a contemporary spin on Mexican food, with a key focus on authentic recipes and ingredients, Mamasita is a must for Mexican fans.
The char-grilled corn – or elotes callejeros – is simply incredible, coming with grated cheese and lime. And what’s a trip to Mexico without a tipple of some local tequila? The bar has more than 60!
For dinner, they only accept bookings for 8-10 people, so if you’re less than that, you’ll have to line up for a table every night. If you can, make a reservation and do lunch!
