Proud Mary’s are a specialty coffee roaster, café, coffee educator and retailer based in Melbourne, Australia and Portland, Oregon USA.

They offer all-day breakfast, delicious lunch, high-end tea, fresh juice, smoothies, cakes and pastries and table-service along our coffee, using fresh, healthy, sustainable, ethically and locally sourced producers.

Not only do they produce exceptional food and coffee, they are also dedicated to representing coffee producers and communities.

Founder, Nolan Hirte, came face-to-face with local farmers and the harsh realities of coffee production on a trip to Bali in 2006. It was a light-bulb moment for him and he committed himself to bridging the gap between farmer and consumer.

Each year they visit their producer’s farms, homes and families to build a a relationship and discover how they can support one another. It is an ethos they take into everything they do, including their relationships with their customers.

This inclusive, relationship building mentality, is what keeps their loyal customer base coming back to both their Collingwood and Portland cafes.
